We have 150 acres in northern Victoria, Australia. This is a dairy and horticultural region (which has suffered pretty badly from the drought over the past few years). 150 acres is an awkward size these days, too big for a hobby farm and too small to be a "real" farm (as in productive income earning farm). We (my partner and I) both work full time, plus run the farm as best we can, it really is a lifestyle choice to live here (one that I love but Chris might have liked to be closer to the water - if you look at the catamaran he is building, you will understand!).

We are located just one farm away from the forest, so we think of the forest as our extended backyard and do a lot of horseriding there! It is nice not to live in town or the city, and to have the space to make lots of noise if we want!
